What cookies and local storage do
Cookies are small values a browser can send with requests. Local storage keeps values in your browser for a particular website origin. Both can remember settings, but they are different technologies.
Current technology inventory
Our application sets no analytics or advertising cookies and loads no analytics or advertising tags. Search and serving calculations need no persistent storage. The only application preference is steep-pearl-privacy-v1 in local storage: version, saved timestamp and necessary-only status, saved only when you confirm or save choices. It expires after 180 days. It does not contain a name, email or advertising identifier and is not sent to a site-owned endpoint.
Hosting and security
Hosting and security providers may process technical information or use essential technologies to deliver and protect pages, including email protection. Restricted hosted previews may also use provider authentication technologies. Those functions are distinct from optional audience analytics and advertising and follow provider notices.
Review, save or withdraw
Open Privacy Choices below or in any page footer. Optional categories are marked unavailable because no such services are active. Save necessary-only settings to remember the notice for 180 days; Forget saved choice removes this application preference. Clearing browser storage has the same effect. If storage is blocked, the site remains usable and the choice may not persist. These actions do not delete emails or provider logs.
Future services
We will update the policy and obtain new choices where required before introducing optional tracking. A current necessary-only acknowledgment is not consent to future analytics or ads. Our local settings panel is not a Google-certified advertising consent platform.
